Globetrotter

Globetrotter is a booking platform to search for an accommodation worldwide both in their brand hotel chain, and other possible places to stay.

CHALLENGES

With a huge variety of places to stay all over the world, it is important for travelers to find the most suitable accommodation for short trips, workations, and long journeys. Globetrotter gathers the highest quality places, in order to make sure their clients are housed with a range of entertainment options and great views.

SCOPE OF WORK

Our developers worked both on the backend and front of a project. Mainly, they focused on the creation of a destinations list, as well as the booking functionality (reserving the accommodation, linking personal details with an account, payment gateway).

    Booking Options

As the main functionality of the platform is to let users book the most suitable hotels, it is well designed. The user can log in with social media, and the personal details block will be auto-filled. Alternatively, guest information can be filled in manually. Furthermore, Globetrotter enables convenient payment within the platform, with just a few clicks. Afterward, the reservation info is sent to the email, with all the needed numbers for further actions.

      Right-to-left Availability

Globetrotter supports multiple languages for the convenience of its users. One of the languages is Hebrew, which requires right-to-left scripts. Hence, to achieve bidirectionality, the booking platform mirrors all the original text, layout, and user interface in order to properly comply with the needed language.
