ViewMedical is a user management platform for a corporate community science lab that helps track personnel and patients.
Our client, a global corporate healthcare enterprise, needed software development and optimization services to scale the functionality of its existing system and improve its performance.
We had to find ways to scale and enhance the existing system while meeting the expected results while remaining within a limited budget and delivery time.
First, we inspected the existing system, found issues and bugs, and considered ways to implement new features.
Besides optimizing and integrating new services, we configured the DevOps part of the project by setting up Amazon Web Services to keep up with the large number of users coming through the secure data.
Difficulty tracking users' real-time status
with real-time status updates and role-based access control.
Overlapping or outdated user roles
that auto-update based on project assignments and status.
Scalability issues due to user volume increase
with load balancing for scalable access.
The dashboard on the admin panel displays diagrams of healthcare personnel around the globe, divided by country. This way, the top management can oversee which countries HCPs prevail in. Besides, it is possible to see graphs on all logins within the system, separate them by user verification statuses, and go through the list of contact details.
To keep track of each user, it’s better to store their personal details in one place so the admins can easily collect data. Customer type, name, email, classification, group, verification status — everything about each user who gets to access the secure laboratory testing process.
Admins can verify users with their first sign-up to ensure no unwanted users enter the system. There are several statuses for that: pending, verified, and rejected. While the user is in ‘pending’ status, they cannot access any type of data in the system, keeping the scientific data secure.
