Project Goals
The platform was developed to educate users about various diseases and to show the conditions associated with them.
Diseases are linked according to anatomical characteristics, taxonomies, disease-associated genes, clinical manifestations, and other classifications. To make the platform interactive and user-friendly, our engineers implemented sorting, directory, and rendering features.
Scope of Work
Our software developers joined an existing project and were responsible for optimizing the software and scaling its functionality.
One of the core challenges was optimizing the performance of existing software across different mobile devices. To do so, we had to work with the directory and rendering features. Besides, we also participated in designing and implementing new services.

options like filtering, clustering, and zoom functionalities to reveal relevant connections progressively.
Solutions & Features
Disease Net
Disease Net helps to find all the information about different diseases in one place. The platform uses only reliable medical sources and provides links for related illnesses. It makes the research or study process quick and effective.
Visualized Interactions
This platform can be used to obtain disease-associated gene information and to examine crosstalk with other diseases via PPI networks. The interactions are displayed through a graphical interface that provides users with a better understanding of the critical genes that can affect various pathological conditions. All the diseases are logically grouped, and you can access the proper entry on the interactive map by clicking a specific item.
Mobile Optimization
The platform features a detailed information page for each disease, written by experts from multiple disciplines and referenced in the latest scientific and medical literature. Both the directory and map on the site are well displayed on mobile devices, so that more users can use the app.
