Project Overview
Project Goals
The EduTailors platform was designed to make online learning more convenient for all parties engaged in the study process.
To do so, we participated in planning further functional scaling, selecting the most viral features and services, and assisting our technological partner throughout all other development stages.
Scope of Work
Despite the application already existing, our dedicated software team has many tasks ahead of it. We had to charge for the bug-fixing process and other quality assurance practices.
Apart from that, our team was responsible for integrating new features and services, such as the option for group classes and private lessons. Also, we had some impact on tech stack decisions and product management to ensure the best possible result of our cooperation.

Solutions & Features
Dashboard
In the dashboard panel, users can conveniently find all the necessary information about upcoming and previous lessons. They can also check the calendar with the schedule, synchronize it with their own Google Calendar, set up payment information, and adjust notifications. To save time and facilitate navigation, we added a Platform Tour. Before registration, the teacher fills in all required information and waits for confirmation. After this, they can add the course to their calendar and indicate its availability for booking. The tutor needs to confirm or reject the course that the student booked.
Booking Courses
Thanks to the filters, the search is easy. Also, all the courses are sorted by subject. Information about each course includes the number of lectures and sessions so that students can choose the most convenient time. A tutor can also upload training materials and specify the number of tests. All users get notifications before the lesson and can postpone or cancel it if needed. The parental access option has been implemented for students under 18. Parents manage bookings and payment details, receive notifications, and receive feedback on children’s progress. Students get access only to the lesson itself. Before the course, there is an opportunity to take the Test Drive Lesson – a 15-minute free lesson with the tutor to determine the student’s knowledge level and their requests.
SaaS Tutoring
Implementing the SaaS tutoring option in parallel with the standard one extends the platform's functionality, enabling the platform to find students and conduct classes online or offline. All users, including those on SaaS, can use the platform for free or purchase a Premium account. It affects the rating position equally with a rate and speed in responding to requests and messages.
