Anto is a platform for sharing upcoming local activities and events by using audio descriptions like podcasts.

CHALLENGES

When searching for events, there is a high chance to miss something. This is why Anto was created to keep the local people informed and to let event moderators raise awareness of their projects. By discovering everything hands-free with the usage of short podcasts, users can acknowledge the full agenda of events nearby.

SCOPE OF WORK

The project’s full cycle of development was on our side. Incora team has created a Progressive Web App, which includes different input formats, including audio. The platform’s user interfaces consist of 2 roles - the user and the moderator. However, the user’s role is not limited to just searching for the events. They can contribute to the activities list as well.

Podcast Recording

As the focus functionality of the platform is to provide audio agenda of local events, the main benefit of Anto is that it allows user-generated content. This means that in the user account there is also a possibility to announce the events and create the descriptive podcasts. The event can be created just in three steps: select the option of creating the announcement, record a 15-seconds podcast, and give details. When all is done, the request goes to the moderator’s page to check the info's credibility and edit it if needed.

Search Specifications

Featuring a map with marked events on it, the users can search for local activities nearby. Filtering by tags, dates, or keywords, it is possible to choose the greatest fit for everyone. Besides, to make the search even more pleasant in terms of user experience, Anto enables to turn on the podcasts and read them out loud automatically one by one. So the user can choose on the go, hands-free.

Activity Management

When entering the page of a particular event, the user can acknowledge all the details needed for participation (location, time, credentials, etc.). Furthermore, it is possible to leave comments and share experiences with others. This makes the interactions on the platform more vibrant.
