Anto is a platform for sharing upcoming local activities and events through audio descriptions, such as podcasts.
The central concept of Anto is to create a solution that keeps locals informed about upcoming events and activities.
To provide users with a more convenient way to learn about events, Anto allows them to discover everything hands-free through short podcasts. Users can view the full agenda of nearby events by simply listening to an audio summary.
We joined the project from scratch. In addition to participating in software development, we helped shape the idea and define the best technologies to bring it to life.
Still, our primary responsibility was to maintain a full-cycle software development process, including choosing the tech stack, designing and implementing the IT infrastructure and architecture, and covering both the front-end and back-end of the future application. We decided that a Progressive Web Application is the best approach for this project.

As the platform's primary focus is on providing an audio agenda of local events, the main benefit of Anto is that it allows user-generated content. This means that in the user account, you can also announce events and create descriptive podcasts. The event can be made in just three steps: select the option to create an announcement, record a 15-second podcast, and provide details. When all is done, the request goes to the moderator’s page to check the info's credibility and edit it if needed.
Featuring a map with marked events, users can search for nearby activities. They can filter by tags, dates, or keywords to find the best fit for everyone. Besides, to enhance the user experience, Anto lets users turn on podcasts and have them read aloud automatically, one by one. So the user can choose on the go, hands-free.
When entering the page for a particular event, the user can view all the details needed for participation, including location, time, and credentials. Furthermore, you can leave comments and share experiences with others. This makes the interactions on the platform more vibrant.
